PROFESSIONAL HERPETOLOGIST

Serpentia is a small company owned by Bjørn Ormstad. It was established in 2011. Serpentia is mainly focused on teaching and education. He travel around to schools, libraries and other private organizations to teach and educate about herptiles. He thrives to keep a positive focus on herptiles to the public, and spreading the good word. He have been working with fear treatment, and helping people overcome their fears for more than 20 years. 

Bjørn Ormstad is also breeder, and have a decent collection of animals. 

He travels around the world whenever he can, and have been to all continents. He captures and studies herptiles all over the world, making educational videos and taking photos. In 2015 he published a book, Slanger og Sånt, which is the largest and most comprehensive reptile book ever produced in Norway. 

He is a teacher by education, with studies within zoology and biology and of course his favourite, herpetology. He have also worked in an American zoo, and in a pet store as a divisional manager of reptiles. He have worked for The National Museum of Namibia, and cooperated with the National Forest division of India. He have been working with reptiles his entire life.
